Running your own business and working shifts for another
One login can be an owner in your business and staff in someone else's. Here's where you land and how to switch.
Some people run their own business on Logidex and also work shifts for another business that uses it. You don't need two accounts. One login can be both.
Where you land
When you sign in as an admin, you land on your own business: the Dashboard, your bookings, your roster.
Switching to your staff side
- Tap your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Tap Switch to Staff login.
You're now in the staff portal, where you see the shifts you've been booked for, your availability and your profile. If you work for more than one business, use the switcher at the top of the portal to pick which.
To go back, tap Back to Admin at the top of the portal.
What each side can see
- Your availability is shared. Set it once in the portal and every business you work for sees it.
- Busy is shared, details aren't. If you're booked at one business, the others see that time as busy, without the client or the pay.
- Everything else stays separate. Your skills, pay and bookings at each business belong to that business. Your own business's records aren't visible to the businesses you work for, and theirs aren't visible to you.
Signing in
On the sign-in page, the box at the top says Signing in as Admin or Signing in as Staff. Either works with the same email and password. Admin takes you to your business, Staff takes you straight to the portal.
If you use two-step sign-in, it covers both sides. One code gets you in.
