How your monthly bill works
You pay for your plan at the start of the month. When the month ends, anything it actually used is settled on your next bill, up or down, without you asking.
Your plan is the smallest one that fits two numbers: everyone on your roster, and how many of your people work at least one job that month. Who counts toward your plan explains exactly who is in each number.
This article is about the money side: when you pay, what happens in a busy month, and what happens in a quiet one.
You pay at the start of the month
Your bill is taken upfront, for the plan you are on at the time.
When the month ends, it is settled
Once a calendar month is over, Logidex looks at what that month actually used: your roster and the number of people who worked.
- It landed on a bigger plan → the difference is added to your next bill.
- It landed on a smaller plan → the difference is taken off your next bill.
- It landed on the same plan → nothing changes.
Your plan then moves to the one that month landed on, so the next bill starts from where you actually are.
⭐ You never have to ask for money back. A quiet month is credited to you on its own.
Each adjustment appears on your bill as its own line, naming the month and both numbers. For example: October 2026: your numbers landed on Team (58 on your roster, 22 working). Difference from Starter.
A job counts in the month it happens
The "working" number follows the date of the job, not the day you booked it.
Staffing a December party in October adds that person to December's count, not October's. That is why a message can warn you about a month that has not started yet.
The heads-up when something moves you up
If something you just did pushes a month past your plan's limits, Logidex tells you right away with an amber message. It names the month, the plan it moves to and its price, and the number that crossed the line.
- After assigning someone, the message has an Undo button. Pressing it takes that person off the shift again, and the month goes back to where it was.
- After adding someone to your roster, the message reminds you that archiving anyone you no longer work with brings you back down.
Nothing is blocked. You can always book the job; the message only makes sure the cost is never a surprise.
A business with free access to Logidex never sees these messages, because it is never billed.
Admin seats
Each plan includes a number of admin logins: 1 on Starter, 2 on Team, 4 on Agency and unlimited on Network. An extra admin seat is $7 a month.
⭐ Staff logins are free on every plan and never use an admin seat. Invite your whole team.
Where to see all of it
Settings → Plan & usage shows your plan, both numbers against its limits, how many more people fit before the next plan, and what that plan would cost.
Quick answers
- "Why did my bill go up?" Look for the month's line on it. It names the month and both numbers, so you can match it to your records.
- "I archived people. Does that lower this month?" Yes for the roster number, from the moment you archive them. People who already worked this month still count as working.
- "Do inquiries count?" No. Only booked and completed jobs count as work, and canceled jobs never do.
